Dinner Menu

Our dinner menu is freshly prepared and cooked each day, based on Scottish seasonal produce much of which is sourced on Mull and Iona (see sample menu below).

  • Smoked haddock fish cake: with spinach, poached egg and Hollandaise sauce £ 8.50

White Wine

    Opulent aromas of grapefruit and peach. This wine is packed with apple and melon flavours followed by a delicious citrus acidity.

  • Tall Horse Chenin Blanc, South Africa £5.75 (175ml Glass) / £19.95

    Tropical fruit aromas with bags of fruit and balanced, crisp acidity. Dry and deliciously fruity.

  • Sauvignon Blanc, O T U, New Zealand £29.95

    Outstanding Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region. Tropical fruits in abundance with fine minerality and good acidity and a long expressive finish.

  • Rioja Blanco, Bodegas Beronia, Spain £24.95

    Made from 100% Viura with no oak contact. This delicate wine has aromas of peach and lily petals.

  • Terrasses De La Mar, Picpoul De Pinet, Coteaux Du Languedoc £25.95

    A grape varietal which has been grown in the South of France for over 400 years! Offering something a little different, it is light and delicate in style with a hint of peaches and apricots on the finish.

  • Les Gres, Viognier, France £20.95

    A Viognier that actually tastes like a Viognier! Bursting with stone fruit aromas and flavours; peach and apricots and a dollop of vanilla cream on top.

  • Blue Riesling KSS, Germany £26.95

    Aromas of rose petals and peaches with flavours of lime and grapefruit

  • Petit Chablis, Domaine Du Colombier, France £38.95

    A classic Petit Chablis. The nose is loaded with minerals, citrus, white flower aromas with hints of wet stone. Minerally, tight and racy with cool flavours and perfect balance.

Rose Wine

Red Wine

  • Valdemoro Merlot, Chile £5.25 (175ml Glass) / £18.95

    An intense wine with deep ruby red colour. The wine displays dark violet hues and offers aromas of ripe black fruit, cherry and mulberry. The mouth-feel is young, fruity and smooth with medium body and a long finish.

  • Ensedune Malbec, France £20.95

    Bright ruby-red in colour. Well-balanced with fruity flavours of cherry and raspberry.

  • Always on Friday Pinot Noir, Portugal £6.25 (175ml Glass) / £21.95

    Brilliant claret ruby colour, rich fruit aroma with intriguing notes of chocolate, green tea and dates. On the palate it has power and structure but is, at the same time, fruity with ripe blackberry and cedar flavours standing out. A delicious, complex wine with a long, smooth finish, very tasty.

  • Blue Boy Shiraz, Australia £23.95

    Full bodied and spicy with dark berries, with flavours of plum, chocolate and sweet spices.

  • The Bean Pinotage, Stellenbosch, South Africa £24.95

    The idea was to create a wine with strong coffee and mocha flavours - toasted French oak staves were used and the result is a deep dark purple colour with mocha and roasted coffee bean flavours on the nose, fine silky tannins on the palate.

  • Rioja Reserva, Bodegas Campillo, Spain £34.95

    Deep, complex aromas with very developed hint of fruit, leather and vanilla. On the palate, it is powerful and full-bodied with a well-balanced tannic flavour on the finish.

Dessert Wine

  • Malbec Late Harvest, Susana Balbo, Spain £34.95

    This sweet wine is lush and brimming with rich blackberry pie and plum flavours with a touch of violets and spice cake. It is the perfect after dinner wine one of the few dessert wines that truly goes well with chocolate.

Sparkling & Champagne

  • Prosecco Barocco Doc, Italy £24.50

    Well-balanced with plenty of peachy fruit, a gentle mouth-feel and a delicate light finish. Perfect on its own or with fish and delicate starters.

  • Laurent Perrier Brut Nv, France £59.00

    A blend of 45% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir & 15% Pinot Meunier. This Champagne has a delicate and fresh nose, with good complexity and notes of citrus fruit It is fresh and supple with rounded and expressive flavours from which the fruit progressively emerges. Good balance and length.
